The RKI OS-BM2 is the galvanic-cell oxygen (O2) replacement sensor for RKI’s GX-series and related portable monitors. RKI lists this part on instruments such as the GX-2009, GX-2012, GX-2001, GX-2003, GX-6000, GasWatch / OX-01 family, and Gas Tracer.
Typical detection range on these instruments is 0–40% volume O2 (0.1% resolution on most GX platforms). This is not the GX-3R / GX-Force cell (ESR-X13P-OXY) and not the OX-600 / OS-BM1D stationary-style cell.

Part number: OS-BM2. Confirm the sensor PN in your instrument’s parts list before ordering—RKI uses different O2 cells across product lines.
After installation
- Install only in a clean, dry area using the instrument’s sensor retainer and gasket.
- Perform a full calibration with certified calibration gas after any O2 sensor change before returning the monitor to service.
- For GX-2009 bump/cal adapters, use the model-specific calibration cup (e.g. 81-1107RK).
